Myriads of years the waters of the Jordan river have been filling the
80 km long depression forming a sea with the surface area of 1,050
square kilometers. The salinity of the Dead Sea is 260-280‰.
Scorching heat lasts here for 330 days in the year, and rare
precipitation combined with low (less than 35%) humidity provoked active
evaporation which led to concentration of minerals. Here we can
find nearly all elements of the Mendeleev’s periodic table, and 12 of
them do not occur anywhere else on earth. It took millenniums for silt
mud of the Dead Sea to accumulate. Waters of the Jordan carried to the
tectonic depression in the Negev Desert minerals coming from thermal
springs, rocks and subsoil water, as well as detritus of vegetable and
animal origin, bacteria, microorganisms and, naturally, great amounts of
silt. All that matter effectively interacted resulting in a unique salt and mud combination.
We must look young!
And this can be achieved only in electrically activated water
environment which exists on our planet only where tectonic fissures
occur. One can get a surprising impression that the nature has created
the Dead Sea having this purpose in view. Contrary to its name inspiring
nearly mystical awe, the Dead Sea is in fact an inexhaustible source of
substances vital for human health. It is not by chance that we have
chosen for our trademark the words “Sea Vital”, meaning the Sea of Life.
